Robert B. LISEK is a mathematician and artist who focuses on systems and processes (computational, biological, social).
Lisek is a scientist who conducts a research in the area of foundations of science (mathematics and computer science). His research interests are theory of ordered sets in relation with logic, algebra and combinatorics. Lisek is also a researcher in the domain of artificial general intelligence and complexity theory. He examines, among others: problem of self-reference, mathematical induction, probabilistic techniques and recurrent AI self-improvement.
Lisek is also an artist and practitioner. He is involved in the number of projects focused on radical art strategies, hacktivism and tactical media. Drawing upon post-conceptual art, software art, critical art, meta-media, and introducing numerous additional influences from mathematic, his work intentionally defies categorization. Lisek is a pioneer of art based on AI and bioinformatics. He explores the relationship between bio-molecular technology, code and issues arising from network technologies. Lisek is also researching problems of security and privacy in networked societies. He is also working on human enhancement: extensions through the use of radical transgressive methods that arise at the intersection of disciplines such as AGI, bioengineering, and political and social sciences. He has prepared an short anthology entitled TRANSHUMAN.
Lisek is a founder of Institute for Research in Science and Art, Fundamental Research Lab and ACCESS Art Symposium. PRIME ENGINE	The work is a directed-energy 'weapon' that emits strong sound waves and laser light (electromagnetic radiation) rapidly propagated in a special gas inside a metal shipping container.
CAPITAL	The aim of the project was to build a multidimensional object comprising of my DNA code [collected from saliva] and codes of chosen viruses [Lloviu virus, Polio virus, Marburg virus and Ebola virus].
NEST	NE5T is an online platform for effective knowledge management in a complex environment of knowledge market.
SPECTRUM	SPECTRUM explores the relationship between bio-molecular and network technologies. The projectt aims to represent the self-replicating behavior of bacteria in order to draw out its wider bio-political significance in an imagined scenario of bioterrorism.
GGGRU Worm	GGGRU is a web worm that is spying and analyzing large data sets. The project is a social experiment that deals with hidden data, systems that reacts in a very short time and security panic. RARL is looking for data concerning bio-terrorism tactics, synthetic life, new bacteria, epidemic, across several agencies and companies.
CRASH	The project deals with the problem of intense processing of big data collections (including internet sites), data from innumerable sources, whose interpretation is clearly beyond human processing abilities.

TRANSHUMAN	The project deals with possible extensions of homo sapiens, as well as the overruns and related risks. Extensions through the use of radical artistic and transgressive methods that arise at the intersection of disciplines such as artificial intelligence, bioengineering, and political and social sciences.
GENGINE	The first part of project SUPRAMIND that aims to build a general-purpose intelligent system based on a visual inference engine which allows us to solve problems by extracting new information from existing.
FACE	The FACE is a portable knowledge management environment that can be used as a distributed network for creating, modeling and exchanging artistic concepts.
FLOAT	The FLOAT is an experimental collective software space, the multi user hyperstructure kit, the program equiped with ability of gathering information and learning during the interaction.
FLEXTEXT	FleXtexT is an original software (part of the art installation), which serves to create a flexible, dynamic and distributive textural space, by using attractors and a new kind of links based on the partially ordered sets .
STACK	The STACK is a collective, dynamical installation that allows small groups of participants to interact with virtual objects, and with each other
